Word from management

Karen Morin, President
Valley Chamber of Commerce (VCC)

I am very proud of what the future will bring for us, for our region and for our members, and what we plan to accomplish in the coming years. Our Board of Directors recognized during the year that we needed to reassess the priorities, objectives, values and visions of the Chamber and, with a new path forward we know that the Chamber is on the verge of success.

As a Chamber of Commerce, we want to help our members succeed and grow by providing them with the necessary support and services that make a difference. We are constantly looking for ways to add value to our members by finding common goals and working together to achieve them. We have also organized many events over the years to bring members together to create a network, find mutually beneficial ways to work together and develop their business.

The Chamber also recognized that we needed the economic growth of our region to encourage business growth and we wanted to position our region to convince other companies to locate here in the valley.

A healthy economy and favourable business conditions in our region are important to us. Successful businesses create jobs and provide our city, municipalities and governments with revenues that are redistributed for the benefit of all.

I look forward to seeing what the future will bring in the near future
